Information We Receive
A search entered into a third-party search widget is transmitted to that provider rather than stored as an official record by this site. We may receive information voluntarily included in a contact message. Servers, analytics tools, and security services may automatically record IP address, browser and device type, referring page, pages viewed, approximate location, timestamps, and diagnostic events.
Cookies and Similar Tools
Cookies or comparable technologies may remember preferences, measure traffic, support security, and help advertising or search partners provide their services. Browser settings can block or delete cookies, although some site or partner features may then work differently.
How Information Is Used
Information may be used to operate and secure the site, respond to messages, diagnose failures, understand aggregate traffic, improve navigation, prevent abuse, and meet legal duties. We do not turn a contact message into an Iberville Parish public-record request and cannot submit it to the sheriff on a visitor’s behalf.
When Data May Be Shared
Data may be processed by search partners, hosting and security vendors, analytics providers, and advertising networks as needed for their services. It may also be disclosed to law enforcement or another authority when required by a valid legal order or applicable law. We do not control how an external provider handles information after a visitor leaves this site.
Links to Other Websites
Links lead to IPSO, the jail roster, VINELink, Louisiana DPS&C, municipal police, courts, news sources, and other services. Their policies, security, cookies, and records are separate. Review each destination’s notice before submitting a name, account detail, or document.
Security and Retention
Reasonable administrative and technical measures are used, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed secure. Information is retained only as reasonably needed for operations, legal compliance, dispute resolution, and security, then deleted or de-identified where practical.
Children
This service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly seek personal information from minors. A parent or guardian who believes a minor submitted information should use the Contact Us page.
Your Privacy Choices
Depending on applicable law, a visitor may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information provided directly to this site, or object to certain processing. Cookie controls are available through the browser. These rights do not let this private site change a record held by IPSO, a police department, a court, or another publisher. Louisiana public records are governed by Louisiana law, including R.S. 44:1 and applicable exceptions, rather than by this site’s privacy choices.
Changes to This Notice
This notice may be revised as services, vendors, or legal requirements change. The new version applies when posted. Continued use after an update means the visitor should review the current text.
Privacy Questions
Questions about this notice may be sent through the Contact Us page. Contact the originating government office for a public record or official correction.
